Our Trip to Sumpter, Oregon

For Memorial Day weekend, we decided to visit Missy and Mikey at their new home in Sumpter, Oregon. So Thursday morning, we packed up Carson and Mindy's van that we had borrowed, and along with Marissa and Marita, headed on down the road. We arrived at their house about supper time, and we stayed until Monday. We tried leaving around noon, but a fatal accident blocked the only road into Baker City. So we turned around, and headed back to Sumpter for lunch, before taking a longer route toward home. The road was blocked until 6:00 in the afternoon, so we saved an hour taking the longer way, and it was worth it! We seen some of the most beautiful country God created.
Sumper is a cute little town, and the country around it is gorgeous!  We spent our time sitting around the fire, hiking through the woods, walking through the Flea Markets, and just enjoying ones company!
We took far to many pictures to fit into one blog, so I must share only a few...

We arrive! Liberty with cousins Kylie and Mikayla
